This ring started out with a rhodochrosite cab that I carved, but it was looking too much like an Easter egg, so I selected this bit of African tiger eye. It has a nice flash of gold when you see this one move in the light.

The metalwork for the rocketfish with a ruby set into it is physically attached to the stone with rivets.
